Why we moved

To be in control and have more degrees of freedom. Neocities restricts use of SEO and bandwidth, for some examples. That's perfectly fine.

We wanted our own domain name. Having a subdomain is cool, and here is a great place to start, but we wanted to be independent from association and to be taken more seriously.

The social media aspect tied in with having webpages - foaming at the mouth, mobbing, popularity contests... We don't care to see any of it.
Why we still have a foot here

We still love our Neoneighbors and the awesome content that many of them post. We check on them pretty often.
